The Christmas Show

How We Express Ourselves

For the past few weeks year 6/7 have been focusing on the unit How We Express Ourselves, but more specifically "how writers skills in expressing their imagination and creativity, produces literature that is engaging to their audience."

Year 6/7 have been inquiring into different genres of writing (creative, expository, narrative, opinion, descriptive and persuasive) and exploring what genres they prefer and why. We have even linked our research and writing to videos and Powtoons to make the learning process a little easier to understand. A lot of fun and laughter and definitely many different ways of expression have been the main focus of this unit.
